Biography: My name is Brianna Butcher. I am 28 years old and live in Fleming Island, Florida. I graduated from Florida Gateway College in Lake City, Florida, in 2015, prior to graduating from Columbia High School. I am currently on a mission to complete my bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Florida. I am the Lead CNA at the Adult Day Care, a service provided by Aging True in Green Cove Springs, Florida. I have a passion for mental health and elderly care. I am an active member of Crosspointe Church of Fleming Island. I plan to pursue my master's degree and possibly a doctorate to become a licensed therapist.

Biography: My personal adventures have allowed me to meet and connect with incredible people from the East Coast of Florida to the shores of Waikiki, thanks to my unwavering belief in "gut feelings" and God. Born in Valparaiso, Indiana, and raised by a retired drill sergeant and a restaurant manager, my family eventually settled in South Carolina. I am one of nine siblings, spread across the U.S. My professional journey has evolved alongside my personal journey, beginning in elementary education, shifting to nursing, and later transitioning into healthcare administration and organizational behavior. I earned a Master of Science degree in Management and Organizational Behavior and currently serve as a Physician Liaison for HCA Healthcare.
I live in Clay County with my husband, Justin, and our 4-year-old cat, Rockie. We love attending concerts, sporting events, and spending time with friends and family.

Biography: Originally from Doylestown, PA, and the youngest of three children, I spent much of my childhood in Clay County. After graduating from high school, I enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where I continue to serve on active duty. Throughout my career, I have been stationed in various locations, including Willow Grove, PA; Fort Worth, TX; Point Mugu, CA; and Jacksonville, FL, where I am currently assigned to VP-30.
Name: Richard "Rich" Carey

Biography: Sergeant First Class, U.S. Army, Retired, Richard Carey served in the U.S. Army for 24 years, enlisting in 1982 and retiring in 2006. Positions in the U.S. Army included Lance Missile Crewmember, Multiple Launch Rocket System Chief, and Senior Career Counselor. Served in the Persian Gulf War, participating in three campaigns. Helping veterans through positions with the Veterans Benefits Administration, Columbia, SC Regional office, Florida State College at Jacksonville, Veteran’s Center for Career Re-Entry and University of North Florida as the Military & Veterans Resource Center Transition Coach, Florida Department of Veterans Affairs and currently as a Veteran service Officer, for the Clay County Board of County Commissioners.

Biography: I was born and raised in Louisiana. In 1997, during my senior year of high school, I joined the Delayed Entry Program for the U.S. Navy. After graduation, I shipped off to boot camp and continued on to 'A' School in Pensacola, Florida, where I trained as an Aviation Electrician.
I met my wife in Norfolk, Virginia, at my first duty station. Over the course of my Navy career, I had the opportunity to serve on all three coasts—the Atlantic, Gulf Coast, and Pacific. In 2008, I was honored to be selected as a U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer, and in 2018, I was promoted to Master Chief Petty Officer while serving as the Senior Enlisted Advisor at the Military Entrance Processing Station in New Orleans. My final tour was with Patrol Squadron 45 (VP-45) at NAS Jacksonville, where I retired after 24 years of service.
During my time in the Navy, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus. After retiring, I went on to complete a master’s degree in Applied Business Analytics from Jacksonville University.
My greatest pride is my family. I have four amazing kids: Gabriel (25), Ace (16), Thomas Jr. (14), and Emma (11).

Biography: I’m a Surgical Technologist with 11 years of experience and hold an Associate’s Degree from Keiser University. Over the years, I’ve worked in several specialties—five years in cardiology, two years in radiology with a focus on spine procedures, and ten years in dermatology, where I specialized in skin cancer removal using MOHS surgery.
I joined the U.S. Military as a Hospital Corpsman and have been stationed at MacDill Air Force Base with SOCOM since 2022. I was previously attached to the USNS Comfort and now serve with the VP-30 SAU command at NAS Jacksonville.
